The products we sell generally follow these guidelines:

clean: The product contains no artificial preservatives, flavors, or colors. They must be grown without chemical herbicides, fungicides, or fertilizers in soil that has been free of chemicals for a minimum of three years. The majority of products have organic or bio-dynamic certification in their country of origin.

traceable: Ingredients and their sources must be verified by Taste the Earth or its European affiliate, Vin & Organic Products Srl.

artisanal or farmstead: Taste the Earth products originate from small, family-owned operations utilizing products grown on their land or raw materials come from traditional farmers who have contracted out the preparation of the final product.

exclusive: These items are made available through Taste The Earth on it's websites, or through special email offerings and not sold in retail store outlets.

distinctive and identifiable: Product labels maintain the uniqueness of the original items in the country of origin while incorporating an identifying "Taste the Earth" logo sticker.

fairly priced: Products will be comparably priced with like items available at retail outlets, but of higher quality.
